In order to Hank Dye denim, a master craftsman dips the yarn skein into a vat of Natural Indigo and hand twist the Indigo deep into the yarn core. The nature of this process produces yarns with varying depths of Indigo Hues giving it a subtle variegated indigo warp. In Tokushima, there are a few remaining facilities that tell the story of the achievements of the indigo merchants of that time.   \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThis is a loomstate denim ie nonsanforized and it is \u003c\/strong\u003e\"Dry Clean only\" \u003c\/em\u003e \u003cstrong\u003ein order to prevent further shrinking. We will not accept returns for washed jeans and will confirm acknowledgement before shipping. Also noted the inseam and rise shrunk up a little more than excepted after cutting so this will be a lower rise Greaser. We will have a longer rise coming early January if you prefer that. This is our first limited run of 18 pairs of jeans from this mill but have many more beautiful artisan level denims coming next year. There is a very limited amount of denim made by this factory and it is done in small batches so it takes a very long time to make as well as limited amount of shuttle looms that can handle the character of this denim. \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThey are running 1 inch smaller in the waist band so size up one inch ie if you're a 33 order 34. .
